Long Bay Beach
Torin is staying with us for a week or so and we took a trip up to Long Bay. The water was warm and calm and the weather perfect. It has been a gorgeous summer so far.
Hamilton
We took a lovely trip down to Hamilton with Grandma and Grandad and stayed three nights at the Quest apartments, courtesy of Robert and Chern. We went to see the temple lights and took a lovely day trip to Rotorua and visited Te Puia to see the boiling mud and the geysers, and then cooled off at the historic and gorgeous Blue Baths. We went out to an Italian restaurant to celebrate the beginning of a new year. It was wonderful to spend the time with Mum and Dad.

Grace graduates from Upper Harbour Primary School
Grace with her Year 6 teacher, Mrs Millett.
It has been a truly great six years for Grace at primary school. She has been blessed with inspirational teachers and mentors. It was very hard to say goodbye on the last day, but new adventures await.

Scavenger Hunt
Laura recently organised a scavenger hunt around the junior high school for the Year 6 kids and it was a lot of fun.
Summer, where are you?
Well, summer is here, but it certainly doesn't feel like it! We are trying to act all summery, but as you'll notice, there is very little blue sky and jumpers and winter pjs are still required!
