Why We Blog

Our family has been blogging since 2005 for the following reasons:

1. Many of our nearest and dearest...are not very near at all. We want to help those we love who are over the seas to see what we are doing and feel connected with us.
2. We want to chronicle our family's adventures for us and interested others to look back on over the years.
3. In the act of gathering pictures, video clips, anecdotes and reflections we hope to capture, in a small way, the texture of our lives.
4. By gathering, reflecting on and presenting our experiences we hope to preserve meaningful memories and build strong family ties.
